Monthly services and retainers

Cancel with one calendar month's written notice — a WhatsApp message or a booked call is enough. We finish that month's work and the fee for the notice month stays payable. Nothing is charged after that.

A retainer that has already been paid is not refunded. It holds our time and our capacity for you for the period it covers, whether or not every hour of it is used, so stopping part-way through a paid period does not create a refund.

Once-off work

• Before we start: tell us and we refund everything you have paid for it.
• Once we have started: you pay for the part we have done and we refund the rest.
• Once it is finished: the fee stays payable — we cannot refund work already delivered.

Money we pay out for you

Fees we pay to SARS, CIPC or another authority on your behalf cannot be refunded by us once they are paid, because those bodies do not return them. We tell you before paying anything on your behalf.

Payment mistakes

Paid twice, or paid the wrong amount? Tell us and we refund it in full.

How a refund is paid

Back to the same card or bank account the money came from, within 10 business days of us agreeing the refund. A card refund goes back through PayFast and your bank may take a few days more to show it.

Card payments

Card payments are processed by PayFast on their own secure pages. We never see or keep your card number, so a card refund is always made back to the card that paid.

How to cancel or ask for a refund

Message us on WhatsApp or book a call. Tell us what you would like to stop or have refunded, and we confirm it to you in writing.

If you are not happy

Talk to us first — most of it is a misunderstanding we can sort out the same day. If we still cannot agree, you can take it up with the professional bodies shown on our home page.
